Take a sketchbook, charcoal and an eraser outside.
Sit underneath a tree.
Look up at the branches.
The number of lines to draw will be overwhelming, but start.
You have to start somewhere.
The branches will be your lines.
Bowed,
Reaching,
Connecting.
You could smudge some of your marks with your hand
And open up the shapes between them by erasing.
Know that each of the branches,
And each line that you make,
Holds the potential energy of Spring,
