On the 17th September Chloë will be taking part in Drawing | Undercurrents. A One-Day Drawing Symposium at Trinity Buoy Wharf.
Convened by Anita Taylor and Drawing Projects UK, the symposium is celebrating drawing in all its forms in connection with the selected work for the Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2026.
The symposium takes place on Thursday 17th September, from 11am to 5pm, with a mix of presentations, and six practical drawing sessions to choose from, led by Alice Angus, Siân Bowen, Chloe Briggs, Matthew Burrows MBE, Curtis Holder, Tania Kovats, M. Lohrum and Anita Taylor. Bring a sketchbook and dry drawing materials.
The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2026 exhibition opens the same day, featuring 92 shortlisted drawings, and there is time to see it as part of the day.
On the evening of Thursday 17th September, from 6pm to 7pm in the Buoy Store, Chloe Briggs and Anita Taylor host a free Introduction to the TBWDP26 Exhibition & Education Pack, for teachers and lecturers.
This is where the education pack launches: six drawing classes written by Drawing is Free in response to drawings in the exhibition. The education pack will be free to download from drawingisfree.org after the event.
The two events are booked separately. Anyone is welcome at the evening session, not only educators.
