Walking across the park on the way to my studio this morning the gardeners were uprooting beds to make place for a new arrangement. I was given this bright bunch of plants with their roots on and I will plant them outside my window today.
On Sunday (1st of November) I publish the next booklet of ideas and inspiration for drawing for subscribers to the 'Supporter Tier' on Patreon called, 'Colour is Everywhere!', my bouquet expresses this perfectly!

On Sunday (1st of November) I publish the next booklet of ideas and inspiration for drawing for subscribers to the 'Supporter Tier' on Patreon called, 'Colour is Everywhere!', my bouquet expresses this perfectly!
HERE IS THE NEWS
- To celebrate COLOUR I will host an extra Drawing is Free session on Wednesday 11th November / 6 - 7pm Paris time / on ZOOM where I invite you to come as your most colourful - clothes, scarfs, backgrounds, make-up, hats...
- Below attached as a PDF is the fifth booklet I wrote for this Patreon, in October 2022. It is called, 'Leaves and Hands'. As Autumn begins in Paris I think of these drawings and ideas - the fallen leaves like human hands some open to the sky, others coiled and retreating. I hope that some of you will be inspired to work from it.

- I have just finished working with an amazing group in person in Paris as part of my 'Autumn School'. We work from the hilltop where I have my small studio and the surrounding area. Plans for a 'Spring School' are afoot and I will share information on Patreon and Instagram soon.
- I will teach two Summer Courses, one at the end of May at Clos Mirabel in the South of France (just two spaces left) and the other at the beginning of August at Bridgehouse Art in Ullapool, Scotland (will be advertised next week)
- The 'From the Foundation: Drawing Classes' Patreon tier that I set up in September is just feeling brilliant - so many people, so much positive energy and exciting work. Find out more information about it here - you can join at any time!
- I am working to make more connections in person with ideas I am testing out with the 'From the Foundation' tier. My dream is to create this web of supported drawing practice across the world.
- Finally, the second instalment of the 1.5hour Guided Portrait Class exploring Charcoal will take place in November (date to be confirmed) and will be available in the SHOP
